STUDIEN UND PUBLIKATIONEN 2021 – HEUTE

„Publish or perish“ (englisch für „Veröffentliche oder gehe unter“) ist ein unter Wissenschaftler*innen gängiger Spruch. Er bringt zum Ausdruck, dass es zur Forschung gehört, eigene wissenschaftliche Befunde der wissenschaftlichen Öffentlichkeit bekannt zu machen. Dies dient zum einen dazu, über wissenschaftlichen Fortschritt zu informieren, damit aufbauend auf den neuen Erkenntnissen weitergeforscht werden kann. Zum anderen dient das Publizieren insbesondere in wissenschaftlichen Fachjournalen dazu, die Qualität der eigenen Arbeiten sicherzustellen und den Kontakt zur wissenschaftlichen Welt zu erlangen. Denn in Fachjournalen werden nur solche Artikel gedruckt, die einer kritischen Begutachtung durch anerkannte Fachleute standgehalten haben. Beiersdorf veröffentlicht seine Forschungsergebnisse seit Jahrzehnten in hochwertigen und anerkannten wissenschaftlichen Fachzeitschriften sowie in Form von Vorträgen und Postern auf Fachkongressen und stellt sich so dem kritischen Urteil der wissenschaftlichen Öffentlichkeit. Die große Zahl der Publikationen seit 1990 zeigt so äußerst eindrucksvoll, welches Gewicht die Beiersdorf Forschung in der weltweiten Hautforschung hat.
